| 時は「うちやまつり」の４ヶ月前。 夏の終わりの熱帯夜。団地内で起きた未解決の殺人事件３件。 住人不安の中、強行された夏祭り。 自治会の話題は、この夏祭りの賛否に始まって、 殺人事件の容疑者である鈴木さんちの息子さんを巡る噂話。 ……人々の噂話が、晩夏の闇を一層濃く染め上げてゆく。 『うちやまつり』 関西地方都市、超高層団地の正月。 「こやまさんちのにわ」と呼ばれる小さな空き地。 互いの名前も、職業も分からない団地住人。 団地内での連続殺人事件!! 現実感覚を欠く主人公の青年は、自分が殺人犯かどうか分からなくなっていく。 ……荒涼たる現代人の精神風景、人間の暗部を深く静かに見つめる。 |

Four months before "Uchiyamatsuri". A Tropical night in the end of summer. Three murder cases have happened in the complex and they are still left unsolved. The summer festival is being held in spite of the sense of uneasiness of the residents. The people talk with each other about whether this festival is to be held or not, about the remors on the son of Mr.Suzuki, a suspect of the murder cases, etc. The rumors make the darkness thicker in a summer end night. "Uchiya Matsuri"(Uchiya Festival) In New Year's Day in a high-rise apartment complex in a city of Kansai area. A small vacant lot'called Mr.Koyama's garden. The residents do not know the names nor the jobs of the others. Continuous murder cases which happened in the complex. A young man, the main character of this drama, lacking in a sense of reality, does not know whether he has done it or not. This is the drama to look quietly and deeply into the bleak side of human nature and the darkness of mind. |
